By accessing or using PreFlight EPUB ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
PreFlight EPUB provides client-side digital publication validation, European Accessibility Act (EAA) metadata remediation, and EPUB file optimization. All file manipulation and decompression occur locally inside the user's browser using Web Workers. Unless explicitly requested through optional AI features, your book content is never uploaded or stored on our servers.
Payments and subscriptions are securely processed by our authorized Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a Single Book Rescue Pass or a recurring Pro Subscription ($10/month or $79/year), you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your designated payment method for all recurring or one-time fees incurred.
Subscriptions renew automatically on each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal through your account billing portal or via the receipt link provided by Lemon Squeezy.
You retain all ownership rights, copyright, and intellectual property rights in your EPUB files and literary works. Because PreFlight EPUB executes client-side in your web browser, we do not claim any ownership, rights, or license to any materials you process through the tool.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While PreFlight EPUB performs rigorous industry-standard checks (including EPUB Accessibility 1.1, WCAG 2.1 AA, and standard OPF/XHTML parsing), publication approval remains solely within the discretion of third-party retail platforms (Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Google Play Books).
In no event shall PreFlight EPUB, its developers, or affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.
